COVID-19 testing tents
If you are a business owner then COVID-19 testing tents should be considered as a safe area to screen your employees. As we will soon begin to ease our way out of our present Stay at Home instructions and into a phased reopening schedule in the Gulf Coast of Florida, it is time to start making plans. COVID-19 tents may be part of your plans. Just for the record, our tents are event / commercial / industrial grade tents, they are not sealed mobile hospital type tents. However, because of that, they are open sided and allow air to pass through (sidewall is an option, if required) and allow greater scope for social distancing. It also has the advantage of making testing safer for all involved.
These tents can be used for a wide range of options and should be actively considered by companies who will begin testing their employees for temperatures / symptoms before they physically enter their place of work. Potentially reducing the risk of infecting their co-workers.
We are also receiving requests for small to medium sized tents from clinics who will be offering testing facilities. The tents are intended more for the medical staff to work under than for people to be tested inside them, though that is a possibility as well.
There have been enquiries for tents as temporary storage facilities too.
I think that it is also important to note that our tents, after every installation, are washed with a mixture of detergent and bleaching agents to clean, sterilize and protect the vinyl prior to storage.
