Powerboat Race Clear Span Tent
We had the pleasure of providing the powerboat race tents this year again in Sarasota and had the opportunity to install a 60′ x 120′ clear span tent as the focal point of the event. Last year it was a similar sized pole tent, but this year the organizers wished to have high open ends to facilitate big screen viewing at one end and the bands on stage at the other end. It was a big success. Naturally there were a plethora of smaller tents around the clears pan for vendors and for the organizers.

In addition to that, we were charged with setting up a VIP tent on Lido beach. This was not an easy task given that part of the southern end had been washed away by tropical storm Alberto a couple of months earlier. Space was tight but we managed to fit a 30′ x 60′ pole tent over the beach volley court and have a little bit of space left over for a couple of smaller tents too.
